Itinerary
Day 01 : Amritsar
Arrive Amritsar Railway Station . On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Check in hotel. After that visit to Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. . Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Amritsar – Shimla
After brakfast drive to shimla. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 03 : Shimla – Sarahan
After breakfast drive to Sarahan enroute visit Kufri, Theog, Fagu, Narkanda and Rampur. On arrival Sarahan. Check in the hotel. Sarahan commands a view of Srikhan Mahadev Peak and is famous for its 800 years old Bhimkali Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Sarahan.
Day 04: Sarahan – Sangla
After breakfast visit to Bhimakali Temple, it is revered as one of the fifty one Shaktipeeth. After visit to Temple leave for the beautiful Valley of Sangla. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are Picturesque and charming. It is also known as Baspa Valley since Baspa River flows through this valley. O/N Sangla.
Day 05 : Sangla – Kalpa
Morning after breakfast leave for Kalpa via Reckong Peo. Arrival at Hotel, from Hotel most of the rooms facing Jorkanden and The Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva and by its side is a seventy nine foot rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga that changes the color as the day passes and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. And in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu Lan Kar. O/N Kalpa.
Day 06 : Kalpa – Shimla
After breakfast driv to Shimla. On arrival check in hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
Day 07 : Shimla
After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of Shimla. Shimla sightseeing is the most exciting one where one can take the enjoyment of the pleasurable climate of the hill station along with its scenic beauty. Visit Jakhoo Hill, Glen, Summer Hill, Chadwick Falls, Prospect Hill, Institute of Advance Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple, Taradevi Temple and Himachal State Museum. Evening back to hotel, Overnight at the Hotel in Shimla.
Day 08 : Shimla – Amritsar
After breakfast drive to Amritsar. On arrival drop at Amritar railway station / airport for onward journey.
